A beautifully crafted vintage stool combining a woven tan leather top with an intricately woven cane base.
The top is covered in narrow leather strips arranged in a graphic herringbone pattern that continues around the sides. Below, the cane base is worked in a geometric diamond and chevron design, giving the piece exceptional texture and visual depth.
Distinctive rounded feet are tightly wrapped in concentric reed, an unusual detail that adds to the quality and character of the construction. Unmarked, with no known maker attribution, the stools stand out for their material richness, extensive handwork, and refined natural palette.
