Vintage Italian pencil reed and brass lidded basket, circa 1970s, in the style of Gabriella Crespi.
The piece is crafted in tightly wrapped pencil reed with a warm natural finish, a fitted lid, and polished brass detailing at the rim and finial. The cylindrical form, woven surface, and brass accents give it the refined material contrast associated with mid-century Italian reed and rattan design.
